This disclaimer governs your use of the services provided by Veer Emergency Care (“we,” “us,” or “our”) through our mobile application and website. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this disclaimer.

1. Nature of Our Services

Our services are designed to provide emergency medical guidance and assistance during the critical “pre-ambulance” phase of a medical emergency. Our trained professionals offer real-time advice and dispatch first responders based on the information you provide.

However, our services are for informational and guidance purposes only. They do not constitute the practice of medicine or a doctor-patient relationship. The advice given is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider. You should always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

2. Accuracy of Information

The guidance provided by our professionals is based solely on the information you share with us through the video call and chat. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the advice given if the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete, or if the situation changes after your call. You are responsible for providing a full and honest account of the situation.

3. Limitation of Liability

You understand and agree that Veer Emergency Care, its founders, employees, and first responders shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that may arise from or in connection with your use of our services. This includes any acts or omissions by you in reliance on the guidance provided.

In an emergency, many factors beyond our control can affect the outcome, including traffic, access to your location, or the patient’s condition. While our first responders will act with due care and professionalism, we do not accept responsibility for any outcomes, positive or negative.

4. Your Responsibility

You acknowledge that our services are an adjunct to, and not a replacement for, standard emergency medical services (EMS). In a life-threatening emergency, you must always prioritize contacting local emergency services and an ambulance first.

You are solely responsible for all actions you take or fail to take in an emergency, regardless of the guidance received from our services.

5. Consent to Emergency Care

By using our services, you consent to our paramedics and first responders providing first-aid and medical assistance as they deem appropriate under the circumstances. This consent is given on your behalf and, where you are acting as a guardian, on behalf of the patient.
