- Legitimate Use (Medical Emergency): Under Section 7(i) of the DPDP Act, consent is deemed for processing data during medical emergencies to provide immediate care.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with:
- Independent Medical Responders: To provide on-site or virtual triage.
- Hospital Partners: If a referral or handover is required.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers (AWS/Azure) located physically within India to comply with local data residency laws.
4. Data Security & Retention
- Encryption: All video calls and data transmissions are secured using AES-256 and TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Retention: We retain medical records for the period mandated by the NMC Telemedicine Guidelines (typically 3 years) or until you request deletion, unless required otherwise by law.

As a “Data Principal” in India, you have the right to:
- Access & Correction: View and update your records via the App.
