Role Overview

We are looking for fresh MBBS doctors to join Veer as On-Call Doctors who will respond to incoming patient calls through the Veer App.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity. Doctors may work from any location and may pursue other professional engagements simultaneously, provided they are able to respond to Veer calls responsibly during their active on-call time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to incoming urgent-care audio/video calls via the Veer App
  • Assess patient concerns using structured triage protocols
  • Provide clear, calm, and practical medical guidance
  • Advise patients on appropriate next steps (home care, observation, in-person consultation, emergency escalation if needed)
  • Document call summaries accurately within the system
  • Follow Veer’s triage and communication protocols
  • Maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality at all times

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBBS degree (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Valid medical registration (as per applicable regulations)
  • Comfortable conducting consultations over audio and video
  • Strong clinical reasoning and triage ability

Language Requirements

Fluency in:

  • English (mandatory)
  • And at least one additional language: Kannada or Hindi

Preference will be given to candidates fluent in English + Kannada + Hindi.

Training & Onboarding

Selected doctors will receive:

  • Orientation on documentation standards and patient interaction flow
  • The training process is simple and typically completed in under one hour
  • Our system is intuitive and designed to support doctors — not replace clinical judgment.

Work Structure

  • Fully remote
  • Flexible participation
  • Not a full-time employment requirement
  • Doctors may continue other professional roles or preparing for Post-Graduate NEET
  • However, calls must be answered promptly during declared on-call availability

Compensation

The compensation will be competitive, benchmarked to Industry standards. Salary will be negotiated with the shortlisted candidates.

All consultations are confidential and conducted via secure systems. Doctors are expected to uphold medical ethics and patient privacy standards at all times.
